Prof. Dr. Tseko Torbov

Born in Oryahovo on 15 April 1899, he graduated in law (1923) and philosophy (1929), defending two doctorates at the University of Goettingen, Germany. Student of the German philosopher Nelson. With his writings and translations of Kant, Prof. Torbov established himself as a profound interpreter of Kant's work.

Born in Oryahovo on 28 July 1896. Graduated in architecture in Munich, Germany. Professor since 1952. Together with his fellow citizen, architect Ivan Vasilyov, he founded the architectural bureau "Vasilyov-Tsolov" and together they realized some of the most iconic and beautiful buildings in Sofia.

Architect Ivan Vasilyov was born in 1893 in Oryahovo. He graduated in Architecture at the Higher Technical School in Karlsruhe, Germany. Together with prof. Dimitar Tsolov he founded the architectural bureau "Vasilyov-Tsolov" and realized some of the most emblematic and significant buildings in Sofia.
