Opening hours: Monday - Friday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM

The project "Echo of the Centuries" is funded by the America for Bulgaria Foundation and implemented by the Oryahovo History Museum.  It starts in 2021 and continues in 2022.  Its main objective is the development of tourism in the Danube region. In order to create a pleasant and varied stay for guests in Oryahovo, the museum offers an entertainment service "Archery" to the ruins of the medieval fortress "The Stone", located 1 km west of the town centre. A paved road leads to it, convenient for private cars. Trained instructors introduce quickly to the skill of archery, which gives real pleasure. The service can be enjoyed by children and adults. Special bows are provided for children. The walk in the nature and the medieval fortress combined with the fascinating panoramic view of the Danube contribute to relaxation and rest. Promotional material is sold on site. At the same time, tourists can, if they wish, after the archery, visit the museum sites - the Central Building with an archaeological and historical exposition, the Diko Iliev House Museum, the Ethnographic House and the Art Gallery "Prof. Diko Iliev".
