In 1986 an art collection of paintings by Oryahov artists was created and entrusted to the care of the museum. Three years later it received its name "Prof. Marin Varbanov". The artworks are exhibited in different rooms. In 2007, its status changed to Art Gallery "Prof. Marin Varbanov". In the structure of the museum it was separated as an independent department. Since 2009 the gallery has its own exhibition hall, located in the administrative building of Oryahovo Municipality. Exhibitions of various visiting artists are periodically opened here, as well as works from the art department's collection.
